The display of the smart speaker should be much like a dashboard. According to Stephen Few, a dashboard is “a visual display of the most important information needed to achieve one or more objectives; consolidated and arranged on a single screen so that the information can be monitored at a glance.”
The display, like a dashboard, moreover should be actionable. That is, the user should be presented with information that it can directly use to complete the current recipe step they are trying to complete.
